AMAL MATHYAS

Amal Mathyas is a dedicated researcher currently contributing to the CONTRABASS Project, a MSCA-DN project. He earned a Master of Science in Physics from Central University of Tamil Nadu, where he developed a keen interest in Computational Condensed Matter Physics during his Master’s Project. Before joining the CONTRABASS Project, Amal gained valuable experience at the Simulation Center for Atomic and Nanoscale Materials (SCANMAT), focusing on the first-principles investigation of polyanionic cathode materials for potassium-ion batteries. In his current role, Amal focuses on atomistic simulations to model the carbonation of calcium silicates, collaborating with a diverse team of international researchers. His contributions are pivotal to the project’s success, and he is committed to advancing the field of sustainable construction materials through his innovative research.
