Jerome Soudier

Jérôme Soudier graduated from EEIGM (France / Germany – 1998) then from University des Saarlandes as Dipl. Ing. Der Werkstoffkunde (Germany -1999)

He worked as scientist in CEA (F) then as R&D Engineer in Lafarge Refractories till 2005, prior to take over management of R&D within Calderys (Imerys Group), dealing with development of high performances monolithic refractories, including zero-cement based concretes.

He joined Sika as strategic R&D director within Global Technology Center (F) in 2017 till today. His research focusses on development of sustainable new hydraulic binders.

He graduated as Doctor from University of Paris-Saclay in 2023, with a PhD on “Direct Valorisation of Convertor Slag as Stand-Alone Binder in Mortars”, leveraging Afm as early hydration product and nucleation surface for engineered hydrates-network micro-structure.
