Christophe Labbez

Christophe Labbez obtained his PhD in Physical-Chemistry in 2002 from the University of Franche-Comté. After a year as a lecturer, he joined the University of Burgundy for a two-year post-doc at CNRS under the supervision of André Nonat, where he familiarized himself with cementitious systems. He then joined the Department of Theoretical Chemistry at Lund University, Sweden, where he completed a two-year post-doctorate to further his knowledge in statistical thermodynamics under the supervision of Professor Bo Jonsson. In 2006, he returned to the University of Burgundy in Dijon, where he obtained a permanent position as a CNRS researcher. He has co-authored over 80 articles in international journals, with an h-index of 32, and heads the “Physico-Chemistry of Cementitious and Colloidal Mediums” (PC3M) team. He is a member of INNOVANDI, the international cement and concrete research network, and SLAMM, the French national soft matter research group.
